Privacy policy

Last updated September 14, 2026. This page explains what information is collected through this website and how it's used.

Race registration

Registration for the 11th Hour Backyard Ultra is handled entirely through UltraSignup, a third-party platform. When you register, your name, email, payment details, and other registration information are collected and stored by UltraSignup under their own privacy policy. This site does not directly collect or store your payment information.

Volunteer sign-ups

The volunteer form on this site is powered by Formspree. If you submit the volunteer form, the name, email, phone number, selected role(s), and any notes you provide are sent to the race director via Formspree and used only to coordinate volunteer logistics for this event. This information is not sold or shared with third parties beyond what's needed to run the race.

Site analytics

This site uses Mixpanel to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages get visited and whether visitors click the registration or volunteer buttons. Mixpanel may use browser storage (such as localStorage) on your device to distinguish visitors across sessions. No name, email, or other personal registration information is sent to Mixpanel through this tracking.

Cookies and local storage

Beyond the analytics described above, this site does not use cookies for advertising or sell any data to third parties. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally to support basic site functionality and analytics.

Your choices

You can use most browser privacy settings (such as blocking third-party scripts or clearing local storage) to limit analytics tracking on this site. For registration data held by UltraSignup or volunteer data submitted through Formspree, refer to each provider's own privacy policy, or reach out using the contact info below to request changes to information you've submitted.
